Games with USC-Beaufort, Houston-Victoria Highlight 2013 Season

The Falcons will return to South Carolina-Beaufort for the fourth consecutive year to begin the 2013 season it has been announced by Head Coach Scott Dulin.  The Falcons will begin their 55 game schedule Saturday February 19, 2013 when they travel to Hardeeville, South Carolina for a four game set with the Sand Sharks.  The Falcons are 1-15 lifetime against USC-Beaufort, who currently ranks 21st in NAIA Division I. 

Fisher will have played 10 games prior to embarking on their annual trip to Texas during spring break as they will square off against NCAA Division II powerhouse Armstrong Atlantic while in South Carolina and then take on former American Mideast Conference rival Houghton College in a four game series March 1st and 2nd.  The Falcons went 3-1 against the Houghton Highlanders in 2012.

The schedule doesn't get any easier while in the Lone Star State as the Falcons will open up with four games against NCAA Division II's Texas A&M – Kingsville. The Javelina's are currently receiving votes in the NCAA Division II national polls.

Fisher will play their next five games in Texas versus Huston-Tillotson University, an NAIA school located in Austin.  The Falcons last played Huston-Tillotson in 2011, dropping the Sunday matinée 10-1. Before returning north, the Falcons will end their trip with a 4 game series against the University of Houston-Victoria Jaguars.  This season's matchup have added value as each school is now a member of the Association of Independent Institutions and the results of the games will go a long way in playoff ramifications .  Fisher is 3-15 over the five seasons in which the two teams have faced off against each other.

Tuesday, March 26th marks the 2013 home opener for the Falcons. Fisher will host former Falcon Anthony Perry's Rivier Raiders in 7.p.m tilt. The Falcons swept the season series against the Raiders during the 2012 season.

After playing their first 26 games on the road, the Falcons will enjoy a nice long home stand, consisting of 16 games.  During this stretch Fisher will host former Sunrise Conference rivals SUNY Canton, March 28th-29th and the University of Maine at Presque Isle, April 6th-7th and April 12th.   The Falcons will close out their 2013 home schedule with back to back doubleheaders against Briarcliffe (NY) College on Saturday April 13th and Sunday April 14th
