  • Park Honored as Daktronics-NAIA Scholar Athlete

    KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) announced Monday that 286 Division II women’s basketball student-athletes have been named 2016-17 Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes. Davenport (Mich.) and Oklahoma Wesleyan led all schools with eight students earning the honor.
  • McIntosh Takes Home All-Conference and Newcomer of the Year Honors

    POINT LOOKOUT, MO. – Fisher College sophomore guard Aliyanah McIntosh took home the Newcomer of the Year Award as well as being placed on the Second Team All-Conference. McIntosh completed the season with 362 points of which 150 were field goals, 22 were 3-pointers, and 40 were free throws. She accumulated a team high 240 rebounds and 118 assists. Nationally, she ranked 2nd in steals per game (3.808), 3rd in total steals (99), 3rd in defensive rebounds per game (8.462), 14th in assists per game (4.538), and 19th in total rebounds per game (9.231).

    LYNN, MASS -- The Fisher College women's basketball team recognized three seniors before Wenesday night's matchup against Vermont Technical College (VTC). The Falcons improved to 11-13 on the season when they stole a 69-44 victory away from the Knights.

  • Murphy Carroll hits 1,000th point in 79-57 victory

    LYNN, MASS. - Junior guard Murphy Carroll stole the show in tonight's 79-57 victory against Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (ACPHS). Carroll was heading into the game with just 8-points left to reach 1,000 points. Hitting four points in the first quarter, Murphy Carroll was just two shots away from hitting her benchmark. She made a layup in the second quarter and shortly after netted a 3-pointer to hit 1,000 points.

    Randolph Center, Vt. -- The women’s basketball team took the court for the first time since returning to campus at the Vermont Tech. Classic against SUNY Canton on Tuesday, January 10. The Falcons took a 60-55 victory from the Kangaroos to improve to 4-7 on the season while SUNY Canton falls to 2-12 on the season.

    (Nashua, N.H) The run-and-shoot offense returned to the Muldoon Gymnasium this afternoon for the Rivier University Women's Basketball team as they jumped out to a 29-8 lead after the first ten minutes on their way to beating Fisher College, 97-74. The win lifts the Raiders' overall record to 2-4 as they will take time off for finals next week and then prepare for a pair of games in Puerto Rico during the winter break.

    WENHAM, Mass.—Fisher College spoiled the opener of the Gordon College Classic, besting Gordon Women’s Basketball in its season debut at the Bennett Center, 78-74. The Falcons put six players in double figures and bounced back after a tough shooting night on Wednesday to edge the Scots by a slim margin. The game came down to the final seconds, as the Falcon were able to capitalize on a few Gordon miscues to put four points on the board over the final eight ticks on the clock.
