Seniors Katherine Ernest and Dennis Norford have been named the 2011-2012 Falcon Award winners.
Katherine Ernest was a four year member and captain of the women's soccer program. One of only two women to compete all four years at Fisher College, Ernest played in 53 career games. She finished her career with one career point.
Dennis Norford was one of the most accomplished athletes in Fisher College basketball history. Norford appeared in 100 career games for the Falcons, including 89 starts. Norford finished his career the school recording holder in rebounds and third all-time in scoring.
This past season Norford led all NAIA Division II with 27 double-doubles and also topped the nation with 12.76 rebounds per contest.
The Falcon Award is presented annually to student-athletes who best exemplify what it is to be a Fisher Falcon. They excel in the classroom, on the field and in the Fisher College Community.
