Bill Maddock enters his fifth season as the Head Coach of the Women's soccer program. Since his arrival on Beacon Street in 2011, Maddock has already become the most successful coach in school history.
The 2014 campaign saw the Falcons reach record heights. The Falcons set program records in wins (10), goals (77), assists (56), total points (210), shots (358) and shots on goal (234). Fisher also finished the season #1 in the NAIA in assists per game (3.11), goals per game (4.28) and shots on goal per game (13). Their 77 total goals was the 5th most in the country and their 56 assists were 8th best.
Their record setting offense was paced by 2014 AII Newcomer of Year and 1st team all-conference selection Julia Schojan ‘18 and 1st team all-conference selection Kaleigh Mulligan ’15 along with 2nd teamers Alicia Alex ‘15, Ashley De Sousa ’16 and Holly Lesperance ’18. Goalkeeper Paige Ciavarro ‘18 earned Honorable Mention honors.
The Falcons finished 5th in the Association of Independent Institutions, their best conference finish in history.
The 2013 team included four (Ashley De Sousa ‘16, Deanna Morency ‘14, Madilyn Pearsall ‘15, Alicia Alex ‘15) Association of Independent Institutions All-Conference Selections. The Lady Falcons offense sets new school records with 35 goals and 24 assists on the season.
In 2012, Maddock collected his first collegiate victory with a 1-0 victory of Pine Manor College. The win was the Lady Falcons first since the 2008 campaign. A 6th place finish in the AII Conference earned two Lady Falcons AII 2012 Second Team All-Conference Honors (Emily Smith ’16, Deanna Morency ’14).
A 2009 graduate of Newbury College where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Management, Bill was a three year starter in baseball and soccer for the Nighthawks. At Newbury, Maddock captained both teams his senior year and was the first athlete in conference or school history to earn 1st Team All New England Collegiate Conference Honors in two different sports.
A 2005 graduate of Marshfield High School in Marshfield, MA, Maddock was a three sport varsity starter, earning all Atlantic Coast League honors in soccer as a senior, and Patriot Ledger All Scholastic in baseball. Prior to MHS, Maddock attended the American School in London, England where he was a two year varsity starter in three sports and captained the basketball team as a sophomore.
A native of Marshfield, MA, Maddock earned a Masters of Education in Sports Administration from Endicott College in May 2011 and is also the Assistant Athletic Director, Sports Information Director, Head Men’s Soccer Coach and Assistant Baseball Coach at Fisher College.
