Why did you pick Fisher College?

I began college at the University of Maine at Presque Isle but realized Maine was too far from home. I wanted to transfer and attend a school closer to Philadelphia where I am originally from. While I was looking for another school I got in contact with a former Falcon player, Louis Williams. He told me Boston was a great college city and Fisher would be a good fit for me. I was particularly drawn to Fisher's smaller class size. While visiting with Coach Lindberg I had the opportunity to meet some of the players and tour the campus, I knew then and there Fisher was the right fit for me.

What is it like to be a Student-Athlete on Campus?

Fisher College is a close-knit campus where everyone knows everyone. The support from other students and faculty make it a family atmosphere. Being a student-athlete it is important to have solid communication with professors. Luckily at Fisher the professors will help you out and work with you because they know that we travel a lot due to games and practice.

During your time as a member of the Men's Basketball Program what has been your most memorable moment?

My most memorable moment at Fisher was senior night last season. Playing with Dennis Norford for the last time was very memorable. Norford was our only senior last year and I enjoyed being part of his 36 points and 42 rebound effort, which enabled him to finish #1 in the country in rebounding. I love seeing people reach their goal and that's what he did.

What have you been doing this summer in preparation for the upcoming season?

I have been working out with Sacramento Kings shooting guard Tyreke Evans and 2 Division 1 players all summer. This workout contains a lot of ball handing work and also working on my jump shot. Workouts last an hour and a half without breaks. I also go to a boxing gym for my strength in conditioning. Another thing I have been working at this summer was my footwork and balance. I have been playing in a few summer leagues where I'm going up against the best college ballers in the city of Philadelphia.

How has your game improved from year to year while playing at Fisher?

My game has improved immensely. I have more experience now and I also have more confidence. I'm comfortable with handling the basketball now more than ever. Instead of being a slasher I've been working at becoming more versatile. The improvements I have made on my shooting, dribbling and rebounding should allow me to see time at 3 positions as opposed to last season when I was limited to 1.

What are your goals for the 2012-2013 season?

Just to become a player and teammate, have a positive attitude and give 100% every game and in every practice. I just want to be a better player than I was last year. I have to lead by example, and be a role model to the younger players coming in this coming year and season.
