Eagles out-soar Falcons 5-3

Titusville, Fla.- The Fisher College Falcons dropped their eighth game in Florida to the Judson University Eagles, 5-3.  The Falcons' record drops to 0-8 on the season.

Judson jumped at the chance to get on board in the first inning scoring four runs to make it 4-0 over the Falcons.  The Falcons couln't put anything together in the first inning leaving them scoreless heading into the second inning.

The Eagles added another run in the second, but the Falcons defense didn't allow any more runs the remainder of the game.

In the third inning for the Falcons, freshman Luz Evangelista led off with a walk and was moved over to second by fellow freshman Maria Rivera with a walk.  Junior Morgan Selmi hit a single to centerfield scoring Evangelista to put the Falcons on the board, 5-1.  Junior Victoria Park go on with a fielders choice as Rivera tried to score, but was taken out at home.

Red-shirt sophomore, Kristina Brown roped a double to right center scoring both Selmi and Park to bring the score to 5-3, Judson lead.  The Falcons couldn't muster any more hits in the game to finalize the score at 5-3.

Mikayla Zimmerman took the loss in the circle for the Falcons only giving up eight hits and two strikeouts.
