Boston, MA - The Fisher Falcons and Coach Sabra Wrice will start the 2011-2012 season as the newest member of the American Mideast Conference. After previously competing in the Sunrise Conference, the Falcons are looking forward to challenge. The American Mideast Conference includes Roberts Wesleyan College, Walsh University, Wilberforce University, Houghton College, Daemen College, Carlow University and Point Park University.
The Falcons will begin their regular season in South Portland, Maine with a game against University of Maine- Augusta on November 2. Their home schedule starts with back to back American Mideast Conference games versus Roberts Wesleyan College on November 4 and the 2010-2011 AMC Regular Season and Tournament Champion Walsh University on November 5.
After playing Briarcliffe University on November 13 at home, the Fisher Falcons will play ten of the next twelve games on the road. The Flacons will compete in the College of St. Joseph's Tip-Off Tournament on November 18 and 19 in West Hartford, Connecticut and the Daemen College Tournament in Amherst, New York on December 21 and 22.
The Falcons will begin the second half of the season by playing seven out of nine games at home. On January 7, Fisher will play host to American Mideast rival Houghton College with College of St. Joseph's coming to Boston on January 8.
The Falcons will end their conference schedule with trips to Roberts Wesleyan on the 2 of February, Houghton College on February 3 and Point Park University on the 12.
Fisher College will conclude their regular season on February 16 when the University of Maine – Augusta makes the trip to Boston.
