Happy Holidays from Fisher Athletics

With the winter season finally upon us Fisher College would like to wish everyone Happy Holidays.  As finals come to an end and students travel back home for an extending break, some Fisher Athletes will continue to compete on the hardwood. Here is a look into what will be happening before students return to class January 17th.

Winter Break Schedule

December 21st & 22nd – Men's and Women's Basketball will travel to Amherst, New York to compete in the Daemen College Holiday Tournament.  Both teams will play American Mideast rival Daemen College on Wednesday with the women tipping off at 6pm and the men following at 8pm.  On Thursday the Fisher Women will take another AMC rival in Roberts Wesleyan at 12pm while the men play the University of Saint Francis (Indiana) at 2pm.

January 4th – The Fisher men will host the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts at Fectau-Leary Gymnasium in Lynn, MA for a 6pm tip-off. The Trailblazers currently stand at 2-8 and Fisher will be their last non-conference game of the season before beginning MASCAC play.

January 7th – The Falcons will host Houghton College for a men's and women's American Mideast doubleheader.  The Highlanders' women's team comes to Boston at 5-4 while the men sit at 4-5. Game times are 1pm and 3pm.

January 8th – College of Saint Joseph's (VT) returns to Fisher a year removed from being conference rivals.  The former Sunrise Conference foes will square off in a men's and women's doubleheader beginning at 12pm.

January 11th – The Falcons will travel to take on another MASCAC opponent when the will take to the hardwood against the Fitchburg State Falcons.  The Lady Falcons will get things started with at 5:30pm start time.

January 14th – The Falcons will host AMC rival Wilberforce University.  This will be the second meeting between the Bulldogs and the Falcons for the men and the women.  Back on December 11th the Lady Falcons fell 84-66 while the men narrowly missed out on their first conference win with an 83-77 loss.

January 15th – The men will play host to Berkeley College of NY in their last game before the spring semester starts.  Game time is schedule for 12pm.
